Anthropic has finalized an agreement with Google and Broadcom for computing power on a scale of several gigawatts. Deliveries are slated to commence in 2027. The majority of this infrastructure will be established within the United States. Anthropic attributes this significant expansion to surging demand, reporting annual revenue now exceeding $30 billion. This represents a substantial increase from approximately $9 billion in revenue at the close of 2025. The number of enterprise clients each generating over $1 million in annual revenue has doubled since February, surpassing 1,000 such customers. Anthropic trains its Claude models on a diverse range of hardware, including Amazon's AWS Trainium, Google's TPUs, and Nvidia's GPUs. This multifaceted hardware strategy positions Claude as the only major AI model currently accessible across all three leading cloud platforms: AWS, Google Cloud, and Microsoft Azure. Despite this broad cloud support, Anthropic has indicated that Amazon remains its most crucial cloud partner. This deal underscores the escalating demand for AI infrastructure and Anthropic's strategic positioning to meet it through diversified hardware and cloud partnerships.
