Apple is integrating an AI assistant built on its proprietary models and OpenAI technology into its core productivity suite, covering Pages, Keynote, and Numbers. The system provides contextual document analysis to automate slide design and animation in Keynote, draft and restructure content in Pages, and organize datasets in Numbers.
Simultaneously, the applications now support the Model Context Protocol on macOS 27 and later, enabling third-party AI agents to integrate directly into the workflow. The beta version of the assistant is rolling out at no additional cost to existing Apple Intelligence subscribers across compatible devices running iOS 27, iPadOS 27, or macOS 27 and later.
The updates to Apple’s Creator’s Studio will deploy to subscribers in November, though pricing structures for standalone enterprise deployments outside standard subscriber tiers remain undisclosed.
