Privacy Policy
Draft of 6 October 2026, written from how the service actually works. It must be reviewed by a lawyer before registration opens to the public.
What we store about you
In the panel: your email address, your name if you gave one, a hash of your password (the password itself is not stored), the list of your workspaces and a log of your actions in the panel — signing in, creating, starting and deleting a workspace, snapshots. We need this so that you can sign in and so that we can work out what happened if something goes wrong.
Trial requests
If you left a trial request on the landing page, we store what you wrote in it: name, company, position, email, phone or Telegram, and your comment. Only platform staff can see it; we use it to contact you about the trial and delete it at your request. We do not store the address the request was sent from.
What your workspace stores
Everything editorial — collected stories, written texts, sources, settings, platform tokens — lives inside your instance, on a separate volume. The panel database does not contain this data. Platform staff can enter your workspace only to provide support, and every such entry is recorded in a log that you can see on the workspace card.
Where data goes
Stories from your sources and the texts written from them are sent to a language model provider (Google, OpenAI or Anthropic). By default the Newsroom works on Edidesk models — with our key and under the provider’s terms; in a test workspace — with the keys you entered on the workspace card. Requests to models go through the Edidesk model gateway: it picks a model for the task and substitutes an unavailable one. The gateway does not store the text of requests and responses — only usage counters: when, which model, how many tokens and what it cost. Your key is stored encrypted so that only the gateway can read it. Nowhere else: we do not pass your data to third parties and do not use it to train anything.
Emails
We email you when the state of your workspace changes (it stopped responding, it is working again), when you reset your password and when the terms change. There are no newsletters.
Cookies
Two technical cookies: the panel session and your Newsroom session. There is no analytics and no advertising trackers on panel pages.
Snapshots and deletion
Workspace data is copied daily; copies are kept for two weeks on the same server. When you delete a workspace, you erase its volume; the copies disappear when their retention period ends. You can download all of your data at any time.
Where all of this is stored
On a server in the European Union, under our control.
